FREE Health Walks

Cherwell District Council run a programme of FREE health walks throughout the week.

Walks set off at different times and locations across the district and all are led by trained volunteers.
Routes are graded from 1-3, allowing you choose which level of exercise is most suited to you.
Grade 1 – walks last up to 30 minutes on flat/gentle sloped ground, with no steps or stiles
Grade 2 – walks last up to 1 hour, with moderate hills and/or stiles
Grade 3 – walks last up to 90 minutes with a variety of terrain covered.

Dogs are welcome subject to the agreement of the leaders of the individual walks, and provided you are not using a retractable dog lead. This is because some of the walk routes go near fields with livestock.

Under 18s are also welcome on any of the walks as long as they are accompanied by a responsible adult.

So if you would like to take up a new hobby, or just fancy getting active and meeting some like minded people, please see the timetable attached –
