Thames Valley Police – ‘APPEAL for Witnesses’

Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on the A4260 Oxford Road, between Adderbury and Deddington.

On Friday 21st February 2020, at around 4:05am, a Parcel Force articulated lorry collided with a man who was walking along the road.
Emergency first aid was administered, but the man was declared dead at the scene. The man’s next of kin have now been traced and are being supported by a family liaison officer.
The lorry driver was uninjured and no arrests have been made.

If you were in the area and saw the collision, were travelling on the A4260 at around 4:00am, were driving on the road at the time and have dash cam footage, or if you have any other information that could assist the Police with their investigations please call 101 quoting reference number ‘106 21/2/20’.
