‘Council Tax Reduction’ Scheme Survey

Currently over 7000 households in Cherwell receive a Council Tax Reduction.
This is a means tested discount that is available for residents who would otherwise struggle to pay their Council Tax bill.
 
From 2013, local authorities have been responsible for designing the scheme, but since then they have had a 10% reduction in the funding available to help fund it.
 

Cherwell District Council are considering options on how to deal with this funding gap whilst still supporting those who need assistance. And would like your views on how the scheme is run by asking residents to participate in an online survey.
