A quick reminder that you only have until Sunday 17th September to make sure your electoral registration details are up to date.
It is a legal requirement for residents to respond.
Households which don’t respond to this initial form will receive a reminder letter ahead of electoral canvassers, who will be commencing a door knocking campaign at the end of next month.
All Bodicote residents should have received a form, but if you haven’t please contact Cherwell District Council by phone on 01295 227005 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Forms contain a list of household members who are eligible to vote. If this information is correct, you can confirm by telephone on 0800 197 9871, by text to 80212, or by visiting – http://www.householdresponse.com/cherwellandsouthnorthant
Each form has security code printed on it that is unique to your address. You will need to input this code so that the council updates the correct property.
If the information on the form has changed, you will need to update the details and return the form to the council in the brown self-addressed envelope.
Any new people who are added to the household will receive a second form, addressed to them, which will ask for a date of birth and a National Insurance number.
This is the second part of the registration process, and this form must be returned to complete the registration.
Alternatively, online registration can be completed by visiting – www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
