Oxfordshire County Council are proposing the following speed limit amendments on the A361 –
a) extend the 30mph speed limit on the A361 Bloxham Road, Banbury to a point 170 metres southwest of the access to Crouch Farm,
b) thereafter to introduce, in place of the current unrestricted (60mph), a 40mph speed limit on that road, south-westwards to near Wykham Lane (where the 50 limit meets),
c) to introduce, in place of the current unrestricted (60mph) a 50mph speed limit on the A361 South Newington Road from 336 metres southwest of Cumberford, to 250 metres northeast of The Town junction (through the parishes of Bloxham, Milcombe & South Newington),
d) to introduce, in place of the current unrestricted (60mph) a 50mph speed limit on the A361 Banbury Road from near the Barford Road junction, south-westwards to near Great Tew Road (through the parishes of Little Tew, Swerford, Great Tew, South Newington),
e) to extend the 40mph speed limit on the A361 Banbury Road, leading out of Chipping Norton by 120 metres.
