Thames Valley Police are appealing for information following an assault in Banbury on Sunday 22nd July.
A 19 year old woman was walking along the Oxford Road at around 2:15am when a man came up behind her and said something she did not understand. He then grabbed her upper arms and pushed her against a wall. The victim swung her handbag at the man who let go of her arms, she then ran away.
The suspect is white, about 5ft 10ins tall and has light coloured, scruffy, mid-length hair.
