Thames Valley Police – ‘APPEAL for Witnesses following Theft in Banbury’

On Tuesday 17th March 2020, between 8:45 – 9:15pm, a woman in her sixties was walking past St Paul’s Church, on the Warwick Road, and using her mobile phone when she noticed a man walking towards her.
The man grabbed her mobile phone from her hand and ran away in the direction of the petrol station.

The offender is described as a slim built black man, in his twenties, approximately 5′ 6″ tall.
He was wearing a dark colour puffa-style jacket and dark blue trousers. He may also have been wearing gloves.
