Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary that occurred on Sunday 8th December 2019, between 12:15am and 3:56am.

Offenders gained entry to a residential property on Williamscot Hill in Banbury. Once inside, cash, a number of personal items and the keys to two cars were stolen. The cars were then taken from the victim’s driveway.
The vehicles stolen were a black BMW and a red Jaguar. The BMW was later found abandoned in Gaydon.

Officers are linking this offence to an attempted burglary that happened two days later in Mollington, Banbury.
On Tuesday 10th December 2019 at 4.13pm, the victim, a woman in her fifties, saw two men attempting to break into her property through the back door. The offenders spotted the victim inside and ran to the front of the property and got into a black Audi A3 and left the scene.
Entry was not gained to this property and nothing was stolen.

The offenders are described as being slim men, one around 6′ 4″ tall the other around 5′ 11″ tall. Both were wearing black clothing, white masks and black balaclavas.
