The ‘Trafalgar Day Parade’ takes place in Banbury on Sunday 14th October 2018.
Trafalgar Day signifies the death of Admiral Lord Nelson along with the Victory at the battle of Trafalgar which is celebrated and remembered every year by the Royal Navy and related organisations.
It last took place in Banbury 8 years ago and will not return for another 7 years.
Times for this parade are as follows –
1.00pm – Parade & inspection of cadets outside the Town Hall
1.30pm – Parade, led by the Sea Cadet band, leaves and takes the route of High Street and Banbury Cross
1.45pm – Church Service in St. Mary’s Church, Banbury
2.30pm – Parade returns to take the salute.
